Shiitake Mushrooms, 1 OZ

Shiitake mushrooms are one of the most popular and versatile ingredients in Japanese cooking. Sushi Chef® Shiitake Mushrooms have been carefully selected for their texture and delicious woodsy flavor.

Rinse the mushrooms briefly and soak them in tepid water until they are reconstituted and soft. Drain, trim off and discard stems, and cut into desired size. Reconstituted shiitake mushrooms will keep for up to 4 days under refrigeration. 

Shiitake mushrooms are a delightful addition to soups, omelettes, stews, and rice dishes. They are also excellent served as a side dish or as an hors d'oeuvre.
